Beautiful Cebu

How lucky I am to be able to represent Quezon City for the National Youth Council held last year at Cebu City.

Part of this, I was able to see and unravel the majestic beauty of Cebu! t’s long overdue, so I hope it’s worth the throwback. :p

Our first stop was the Taoist Temple located at Beverly Hills Lahug. Approximately six km from the city centre in Lahug district lies Beverly Hills, the millionaire quarter of Cebu-City. From Cebu-City you can get fairly close to the temple by an Lahug jeepney.

Atop Beverly Hills is the highly photogenic Taoist Temple of Cebu which was built in the second half of the last century.

There is also a beautiful view of the city from this lovely place.

And this makes me want to go to China!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂

Next Stop: Pedro Calungsod Church, I love the architectural design of the church and the whole ambiance.

Third Stop, Magellan’s Cross.

Last Stop: Basilica MInore Del Sto. Nino de Cebu Pilgrim Center. I really felt bad that I wasn’t able to enter and see what’s inside the church due to the earthquake. But what amazed me is that despite of the fact that the authorities had announced that it’s quite dangerous to go here, people and devotees doesn’t seemed to be affected at all.
